The Carrie Lee Taylor Foundation is a community-based nonprofit that originated in the Bay Area and serves families in Hayward, Oakland, and surrounding areas. Our foundation was created in honor of Carrie Lee Taylor, a strong, faith-filled woman who dedicated her life to caring for others and uplifting her community.
We carry on her legacy by supporting underserved and at-risk children and families through love, service, and meaningful connection. We believe that every family deserves access to basic resources, opportunities, and a support system they can rely on.
Our work is rooted in compassion, community, and consistency. We are not just here to provide help—we are here to build relationships, restore hope, and create lasting impact.

The Carrie Lee Taylor Foundation empowers underserved and at-risk children and their families by providing access to essential resources, educational opportunities, and emotional support. We are committed to helping families thrive with dignity, stability, and hope.
We provide direct support to families through community-based programs and outreach efforts, including:
• Food distribution and grocery support
• Hygiene kits and essential items
• Community events for families and children
• Resource connection and support services
• Volunteer and community engagement opportunities
Our goal is to meet immediate needs while also creating long-term support systems within the community.
My name is Briana Jones, and I am the proud founder of the Carrie Lee Taylor Foundation. I am also a single mother of three boys, and everything I do is driven by my desire to create a better future—not just for my children, but for families in our community.
I was born and raised in Hayward, California, and staying connected to the Bay Area means everything to me. This foundation is deeply rooted in my family’s legacy, especially my grandmother, Carrie Lee Taylor. Although I never had the opportunity to meet her, her impact lives on through the stories and love shared by my family. I am committed to keeping her legacy alive through service, love, and community work.
I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Cal State East Bay, with a long-term goal of becoming a criminal defense attorney so I can continue advocating for underserved communities.
I have a big heart, and I truly love serving the community. Throughout my life, I have worked in roles that support children and families, and this foundation is my way of giving back while staying connected to where I come from. I have a strong passion for what I do, and I bring that passion into every part of this work.
I am proud of where I come from and will forever carry my family name with love and honor. I also believe in building strong relationships and am always open to partnerships with individuals, businesses, and other nonprofits who share the same heart for giving back and uplifting the community.
A little about me—I love the color pink 💕, and I believe in leading with kindness, purpose, and authenticity in everything I do.
This work is personal to me—it’s about legacy, love, and showing up for others. Thank you for being part of this journey 💕

Carrie’s Table is one of our signature outreach initiatives focused on addressing food insecurity in our community. Through this program, we provide food, essential items, and a welcoming space for families in need.
What started as a community event is growing into an ongoing program designed to serve families consistently and with care. Carrie’s Table represents more than just food—it represents community, dignity, and support.
